Hey Demeter! I lost my job around the time my second boy was born. scared the **** out of me knowing that i now had 3 mouths to feed (including mine) and unemployment just kept my bills and me afloat. so i started doing some research on working out of the house and tried all sorts of online stuff. Including ebay buying and reselling and offering services on craigslist such as: Babysitting and house cleaning. Now i work soley out of the house on the computer. mainly when my kids are asleep, at school, or watching TV. I've found affiliate sales and marketing to be an amazing source of money. took a while to start having a solid income though. about 6 months with lots of dedication and research. but well worth it!!!

I do online work through Appen Butler Hill and Amazon MTurk. It doesn't bring in a lot of money but every little bit counts. You need to apply for Appen Butler. Amazon MTurk is free.

A lot of office jobs are turning into places you can work at hom ea couple times a week. If you have a good tech support they can allow you to access the server and company files from your home computer. In fact, a lot of companies prefer that you work at home so they can save office space. You just gotta ask around.

Hi Demeter,

I work from home doing all sorts of odd jobs but pays well. I do affiliate marketing. If you love to write you can start your blog and slowly get paid through ads posted in it. You can write for other people and what pays a lot is copy writing.

I am new in the website and I saw this post interesting. Momentarily, I am separated from my son's father. In this time that I have been a single parent, I have found different online jobs that can bring extra income such as filling surveys, tutoring Spanish and babysitting. However, I found this wellness company that has helped me to have extra income which has helped me to pay bills and save a little money; I find it fascinated!!! Only with the call center job it is not enough to survive and take care of my son.

Hi,

If it's any help to anyone, I have a job opening for somebody who would like/needs to work from home. My company runs a monthly survey in the US and I need somebody who lives in the USA to phone around 250 people a month and ask a 5 question questionnaire. You don't need any experience just have a pleasant phone manner and an internet connection.

I pay around $1000-$1500 a month and you set your own hours and schedule. If you or anyone you know is interested please send me an email to: +++SPAM REMOVED+++

This job is ideal for a stay at home parent.
